A 6-2 victory against a strong East Anglia side highlighted the progress made this season against a team who Leicester drew with in a league fixture earlier in the season. The team now progress to the finals against a resurgent University of Birmingham third team.

After losing five first team members at the end of last season, the new look team is really starting to perform and peak at the right time. Hopefully momentum will be maintained to ensure an unprecedented cup and league double this season, ensuring promotion straight back into division one.
