Welcome Freshers and Returning Students

Dear colleagues,

This is Fénian here, Activities Officer in the SU this year. I make up one fifth of the Executive of the Students’ Union. My job is to oversee the political and strategic development of all societies, sports clubs, associations and media groups within the Students’ Union.

University and Colleges Union (UCU) Strike Action on Tuesday 22nd and Thursday 24th of March

The Higher Education sector is undergoing a number of rapid changes culminating in drastic cuts to teaching budgets in universities, increases in tuition fees, and restructuring of pay and conditions for university staff. All of these measures diminish the quality of higher education and make it harder for students from less privileged backgrounds to go to university. Cuts to our higher education system also impact negatively on university staff; threatening jobs, increasing workload, decreasing salaries, and compromising pension provision.

Get Fit for Exams, Powered by ED!

The Event begins on Monday the 13th and takes you right up until the end of term with sessions held everyday to make sure you are in the best shape you can be come January.

Programme Details:

Monday 13th December:

Sports and Recreation will be on campus giving your body a full MOT! as well as giving you the chance to get free gym and class passes

Tuesday 14th December:
