The ACS is an organisation that welcomes all those from different ethnicities and backgrounds to come together and celebrate African and Caribbean art and life.
We welcome all with a passion for African and Caribbean culture, history, music or food.
The ACS provides a great environment with opportunities to expand your social network and to find an escape from the stress of lectures, coursework and other aspects of university life. We are committed to making your university experience fun, due to our many events which will see you integrating with people from different universities within and out of Leicester.
We also are here to help one another learn more about each other’s different cultures with our many discussions and guest speakers and to provide an opportunity for everyone to represent themselves, sharing and teaching others of their love for their “roots”.
We also offer a degree of support for all new comers as we the existing ACS members remember what an adjustment university life can be.
