Lorretta Jones HELLOOOO everyone! I'm Lorretta and I'm the publicity secretary for this wonderful ChemSoc :D. If you're studying chemistry at our uni (no matter what year you're in or whether you are BSC or MChem) then you should definitely become a member. It's not all about bar crawls as we have sports teams and last year we had a crazy fireworks lecture (with real fireworks lol!) , an easter ball (complete with a conga line that filled the whole suite!) and a very fun session of laser quest (with some crafty cheaters!) . So come visit our stand during fresher's fair and keep an eye out for us in the George Porter building!

Becky Groves Hi to all freshers! This is Andy and Becky, your President and Vice President of Chemsoc.
We will have a stall at freshers fair on Monday and Tuesday next week where you can sign up to join the society as well as checking out what great things we have lined up for you over the next year. By joining Chemsoc you get discounts to our socials, buying hoodies and other events Chemsoc hold such as the easter ball. We also have chemistry sports teams that play in the intermural league against other societies.
Come and have a chat with any of the committee to find out anything you need to know!
