Boasting over 100 members at the University, Conservative Future is a great way to get involved with politics, start a career in one or just head down the pub for a few pints and meet new people! Whatever your looking for, be it social nights out or campaigning hard for the party, you will feel right at home with the University’s Conservative Future. We are the most active political party at the University, with trips to London and Brussels planned, a whole calendar of social events including the infamous Haguethon! (a 14 pint pub crawl in one night), and campaigning around Leicester and the East Midlands. There are opportunities to gain work experience at the council and kick start a career in politics in numerous ways.

Joseph Hearn Welcome to the CF!
Whatever your politcal views, its a great way to get into politics. Whether you just want to meet up, talk or get drunk, or develop a career in politics this is the place for you. We are the most active political society in the University. We go out campaigning weekly, hold socials every week, and have a variety of guest speakers, such as councillors, historians and of course MPs and MEPs. We have visits to the House of Parliament every year. Through the CF, you have the chance to forge a career in politics. By helping the party, you can campaign, apply to become an intern at the city council, work closely alongside politicians amongst lots of other opportunities!
