It doesn’t matter which course you are doing, or how much you know about art, we simply invite you to come along and take the steps to enjoy and appreciate art as well as get to know some interesting, creative people.
So far we have had great talks from local and well established artist Clive wilkins, a talk by the curator of the tate, lots of trips around leicester art scene and to see the nottingham british art show 5.
This academic year 2011-12 we plan to be bigger and better as always with funding and have lots of social activity with creative flare! Including trips around leicester locally, a trip or two to london and one to nottingham or birmingham.
We know how hard it is to afford things which is why most of our events are free of charge and we will subsidise travel costs as much as we can.
Also, we will have another annual art exhibition held in town after successfully putting on off this year, the theme will be ‘Spatial Recognition’ (not yet confirmed) but spread thte word and nominate yourself or a friend to take part to make it a great event!
