There are many opportunities to get involved, whether you are interested in acting, directing, writing or the more back stage and technical elements.
We have 3 productions coming up this term; ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’, ‘Stand Up and Jump’ and ‘Romeo and Juliet’ will all be performed in March. Come along and watch or get involved with the back stage and technical teams.
Keep an eye out for our socials. LUTheatre hosts a range of socials from theatre trips to bar crawls to karaoke nights. Come along to meet new people and have a bit of fun.

Ruth Chappell Hi Everyone,
Just when you’ve recovered from the bar crawl we have another fun but tiring project.
This weekend is the 24 hr play - we will be choosing, casting and rehearsing a play in 24hours and then performing it in aid of the charity Chickenshed .
If you want to act/direct/tech/etc in 24hr, come along to the ARC at 6pm on Sat - be prepared to stay all night (I recommend deo, food and a change of clothes and dominoes vouchers). It will be a massive amount of fun, and a great way to make new friends / see old ones.
If you can’t make it, come along to the performances at 7pm on Sunday in Queen’s Hall (02 academy 2)

L, U or T fancy dress barcrawl.
7.30 Last Plantagenet (‘spoons on Granby Street) going via R Bar, time and The Loaded Dog to Red Leicester.
Various people in fancy dress will be at the halls bus stops at 6.45 to accompany you into town!
Look forward to seeing you there! (I’ll be the one dressed as Toad of Toad Hall)

Tues 12th and Wed 13th are suditions, then callbacks on the 14th
