Ultimate Frisbee is a self-refereed, non-contact game in which two teams attempt to score by catching the disk in the oppositions endzone. It is a fast, athletic sport that is played indoors and outdoors. We train four times a week all through out the year and anyone can turn up to any session at any time and try it out.
Training times:
Wednesdays 2-4pm in victoria park (right next to campus),
Fridays 8 -9:30pm in the charles wilson sports hall.
Saturdays 2-4pm in victoria park.
Sundays 6 -7:30pm in the charles wilson sports hall.
The university season peaks at regional and national tournaments, along with our very own University of Leicester international tournament.
Previous Social Sec Rob says “Ultimate Frisbee is an amazingly social game, even more so at university level. Jesters have become notorious for their good spirit over the years in the University and the Ultimate community. So come and join the fun and experience the most inclusive, social and enjoyable sport in the world”.
