The women’s basketball club offers a fun and interactive way to keep fit and make new friends. Whether you are the next WNBA star or a beginner with no experience in the game, You’re all welcome :D
We have an excellent coach who is willing to train you in the techniques and game of basketball. For those looking to play competitively, we play matches in the Leicestershire league and also the BUCS league where you play against different universities, so everyone has a definite chance to play. There is an intramural league which is a friendly competition where you can compete against friends, hall of residence or course of study. Also, you will be guaranteed to have a great time at the socials organized joint with the men’s basketball club- ranging from themed bar crawls, dinners and trips away to play basketball. The club welcomes anyone who is interested and we are equally eager for new faces and potential.
