If you want to be part of a welcoming, social and exciting club then ULWFC is the club for you. Not only are we serious about football but our socials are equally important. With training sessions, matches and socials you’ll inevitably meet friends for life.
ULWFC caters for every ability, whether you’ve never touched a ball or if you were born wearing boots you’re encouraged to join. Our fully qualified coaches bring the opportunity of improvement in skill and fitness. We play various universities in the BUCS league but our most crucial match without doubt is Varsity where we compete at the home of Leicester City FC against arch- rivals De Montfort University. 2011/2012 will be our 4th consecutive win!
A highlight of our year is the annual tour abroad- an unforgettable experience which creates some of the best memories of university. The club enjoys fantastic weekly socials and visits to England Women’s matches in our spare time amongst other activities. We have players from all over the world who all agree that joining ULWFC was the best decision they ever made at university.
We train on astro turf at the university facilities, Manor Road;
Monday- 19:15- 20:30
Tuesday- 19:15- 20:30
Matches take place on Wednesday afternoons again at Manor Road.
