Hey everyone, The Finance Society will be organising a trip to London after the examination period in June. We will be visiting the Bank of England Museum and also the London Stock Exchange. The trip will be held most likely in the week beginning the 13th of June.

The trip will be a great learning experience for those wanting to understand the City. We’ll be free to walk around the Bank of England Museum and understand its role a…s a Central Bank and there will also be an educational seminar. We will also then attend a seminar at the LSE, their ‘Inside the markets’ session is a brilliant way to gauge how the markets work, they will discuss the exchange’s history, other exchanges, business financing, current industry challenges and more.

The cost of the event will include the cost of the coach journey and the cost of the LSE seminar. The trip will be around £50 but the price is not set in stone yet, members of the society will receive a discount.
