The Students Leadership Award is a Leicester Award programme run by the Students’ Union to enable students to develop, assess, recognise and record employability skills they have gained through undertaking various leadership roles across the Students’ Union.
The Student Leadership Award consists of a series of workshops, group sessions and presentations supported by a portfolio showcasing the skills and achievements that you obtain or develop during the year. The whole programme is focused on enhancing your employability and at the end of the programme details of the award are included on your transcript; alongside your academic record.
Any student elected as a Course Rep, club or society committee member, or onto Union Parliament is eligible to take part in the award; which is run as a six month programme.
Applications are now closed, and all applicants have been contacted to notify them whether they have been successful or not.
