General Meeting
Have your say. Shape your Union. Vote.
Over the last year, we have been working hard to find a way to streamline the SU and to better represent our student body. This process has allowed us to understand student needs, redefine our democratic practices, and evolve as an organisation.
However, we cannot do this without your help. In this meeting, you will have the opportunity to vote on proposed changes from the governance review in a Special Resolution. You will hear the proposed changes from the ongoing governance review from your Executive Officers, and you will be able to feed into the Students' Union's strategy!
All students are invited to attend the General Meeting.
In recognition of your contribution, all participants will receive a £12 lunch voucher (2 x £6) to use in the outlets on campus for attending this meeting, as well as a Dig-In box.
Can't make it in-person? No need to worry! Online attendees can pop over to the Students' Union Office later in the week to grab their freebies. As long as you fill in the attendance form in the meeting, you can receive the freebies.
Can't attend, but still want to have a say? Good news: you can still vote on the Special Resolution if you can't attend the meeting! Follow this link to request a proxy to vote on your behalf, and get your proxy to fill out this consent form. Proxy voters must attend the meeting to cast your vote.
