We have a number of exciting roles available and are always looking to expand on the core team. It's a great thing to put on your CV, get to know other committee members, and be directly involved with the running of Chorus. If you are interested in any of the roles please let the committee know.
Librarian - The role of the librarian is to make sure we have the music we need for each event and to keep track of who has taken music away with them. You will also have a role of looking for new music we might want to rehearse later in the year.
Publicity and Fundraiser (Pub & Fun) - Run our social media and design our advertising material! This role is for you if you want something to put your creative side int use. The fundraising can include events to raise funds for Chorus, or for an external charity, or both.
Social Secretary - As well as our weekly rehearsals, it is great to meet up for an evening out. It could be at the pub, at a board games cafe, or maybe out to see a show at one of the many great venues in Leicester. Whatever it is it takes some organising and this role gives you the chance to do just that.
Introducing our committee for the upcoming academic year! We are looking forward to having a fab time with all of our members. The fun-filled year will include many rehearsals, performances and socials! Come join us, to join the fun!
We've joined the fantastic 'Sing The Change' initiative by 'Music Declares Emergency' and will be singing 'What a Wonderful World' to send a message to the world during COP26 - the UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow.
Good news for all singing lovers: the Leicester University Chorus is back! After a really hard year and a half due to the pandemic, we have joined forces to get Chorus back up and running, and we are really excited to share it with you all!
