For all those interested in writing, spoken word poetry or simply making new friends - this may be the society for you.

It doesn't matter what level you're at, whether you're a blooming poet or an aspiring novelist - we don’t expect you to be the next Shakespeare (at least not yet anyway).

We aim to provide a relaxed and friendly environment  where members can share, create and develop their work whilst learning from each other.

Aside from holding weekly meetings and group writing sessions on areas such as film scripts, haikus and every genre from comedy to horror, we also provide up to date information on competitions, a page for you to display your work and perhaps, most importantly, a chance to meet and talk with like-minded people.
