Welcome to the University of Leicester Salsa Society!

Ever wanted to move to the rhythm of Latin beats and learn Cuban Salsa? Now’s your chance! Join us every Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm for vibrant and energetic partner dance classes, taught by the incredible Jenny Harvey from Espiritu Latino in Leicester, and ourselves. 🪩

No partner? No problem! Salsa is a social dance, and we'll rotate partners throughout the class, so you’ll get the chance to dance with everyone. Whether you're completely new to Salsa or a seasoned dancer, our classes are designed for all levels. Just bring your enthusiasm, and we'll help you find the rhythm! 🕺💃

What’s Salsa?

Salsa is a dynamic and fun partner dance originating from South America and popular all around the world. It’s all about connecting with your partner, moving to infectious Latin music, and having a blast! Wondering what Salsa looks like? Here are some video demos to give you a taste of the dance:
