We have been working with The Red Box Project to provide free sanitary items for young people in our local schools.
For a disadvantaged young person, education is the path out of poverty. There were 3.9 million children living in poverty in the UK in 2014/15. That’s 28% of children, or 9 in a classroom of 30.
We provided a red box full of sanitary items to be placed in the facilities of local schools.
